Not answering objections
By Caleb Gross · Updated · Based on Jev AI scores of 116 pages
Short answer
List the top reasons people don't sign up (price, setup time, data safety, switching) and answer each one on the page, ideally near the button.
Every visitor has a few doubts: Is it worth the price? How long does setup take? Is my data safe? Can I leave? If the page doesn't answer them, visitors leave to find answers, often on a competitor's page.

Why it matters
Unanswered questions turn into “I'll think about it”, which usually means never. Answering them on the page removes reasons to wait.
Signs your page has this problem
- No FAQ section.
- Pricing, setup time or data handling aren't mentioned anywhere.
- Support gets the same pre-sale questions again and again.
How to fix it
- 1
Collect real objections
Look at sales calls, support emails and cancellation reasons. Write down the exact questions.
- 2
Add an FAQ with honest answers
Five to eight questions, each with a short, direct answer.
- 3
Answer the biggest one near the button
If setup is the worry, put “Set up in 5 minutes” right under the button.
- 4
Compare yourself honestly
If people compare you with a known tool, a short “Why us vs X” section helps them decide.
Checklist
- An FAQ answers the top 5–8 questions
- Pricing or a price hint is on the page
- Setup time is stated
- Data and privacy are addressed
